Instead, focus on exploiting environmental hazards, using your sling to target weak points, and employing alchemical concoctions strategically.

For example, against heavily armored knights, direct hits with your sling are often ineffective. Instead, look for opportunities to use your sling to knock them off ledges, ite flammable objects near them, or lure them into traps. Hugo's rat abilities can also be crucial. In some encounters, Hugo can be directed to unleash swarms of rats to distract or damage the boss, creating openings for Amicia. Always keep an eye on your inventory; ensure you have a good supply of crafting materials for arrows, firebombs, and other alchemical tools. Don't be afraid to retreat and reposition if you're overwhelmed. Learning the boss's tells – the visual or auditory cues that precede an attack – is vital for successful dodges and counter-attacks.
