Effective resource management is critical for survival in A Plague Tale: Requiem. Amicia relies heavily on her sling and several alchemical concoctions, and running out of either can be disastrous. Always be on the lookout for crafting materials. These are scattered throughout the environment, often in small containers, on tables, or near workbenches. Prioritize collecting common materials like sulfur and alcohol, as they are used in the most frequently needed alchemical items. Leather is essential for upgrading your sling and other gear, so don't overlook it. When crafting, consider what you anticipate needing for the upcoming encounter. If you know a large group of rats is imminent, prioritize crafting is. If you expect heavily armored enemies, Odor might be more useful. Don't hoard resources unnecessarily, but also avoid crafting items you won't use. use workbenches whenever possible to craft multiple items at once and to upgrade your equipment. Upgrades often increase the effectiveness of your tools or the amount of ammo you can carry, making your limited resources go further. Pay attention to the ammunition count for your sling; always try to have a few stones ready. If you find yourself low on a particular resource, consider backtracking to areas you've already cleared, as some resources may respawn or be hidden in less obvious spots.
