Scattered throughout the entire GATE facility are numerous 'Data Pads' and 'Audio Logs'. These collectibles provide deep insights into the lore of Abiotic Factor, detailing the events leading up to the anomaly, the nature of the experiments conducted, and the fates of various personnel. While not a traditional 'quest' with a specific objective marker, collecting these items is highly encouraged. Each Data Pad you find adds to your 'Lore Compendium' and often unlocks new entries. Collecting a certain number of Data Pads can sometimes trigger hidden events or reveal the location of secret stashes. There are over 50 Data Pads in total, with some being in plain sight and others requiring careful exploration or puzzle-solving to reach. Keep an ear out for the subtle electronic hum they emit when nearby.
