This early-game side quest is initiated by finding a 'Janitor's Note' in the Sector 0 administrative offices. The note details the janitor's unfortunate encounter with an anomaly and mentions losing his master keys somewhere in the 'Maintenance Tunnels'. The Maintenance Tunnels are accessible from several points in Sector 0 and Sector 1. The keys are usually found near a pile of cleaning supplies or a broken utility cart. Be wary of 'Slimes' and 'Rats' in these tunnels. Retrieving the keys allows access to numerous locked storage closets and utility rooms throughout the early sectors, often containing valuable crafting components, food, and sometimes even a rare weapon blueprint. The reward for completing this quest is primarily access to these new areas, but also a small XP boost.
