Throughout Abzu's environments, you'll discover small, enclosed pools of water, often hidden behind coral formations or in secluded caves. Interacting with these pools releases new species of fish into the surrounding ecosystem, enriching the diversity of marine life.
There are numerous fish pools in each major area. Look for subtle visual cues, like slightly glowing cracks or unusual rock formations, that might indicate a hidden passage. Releasing all fish species is a rewarding completionist goal.
