Sturm is the ultimate antagonist, and his abilities reflect his status as the final boss. He has a unique CO Power, 'Meteor Strike', which deals 8 HP damage to units in a 3x3 area, ignoring terrain defense. He also has a passive ability that grants all his units a 20% attack and defense bonus, and his units ignore movement penalties from terrain. This makes him incredibly formidable, as his units are stronger and more mobile, and his CO Power can devastate your forces.

Strategy:

Phase 1: Weathering the Storm

Sturm will start with a significant force and will likely push aggressively. Your initial focus should be on establishing a strong defensive line and securing as many properties as possible. Use terrain to your advantage, placing your units in woods or mountains to mitigate Sturm's attack bonus. Prioritize building a balanced army, including Anti-Air to counter his air units and Artillery/Rockets for indirect fire. Be prepared for his Meteor Strike; try to spread out your units to minimize its impact, or move damaged units out of the potential strike zone.

Phase 2: Counter-Offensive & CO Power Management

Once you've weathered the initial assault and built up your forces, begin your counter-offensive. Focus fire on Sturm's most dangerous units, such as his Medium Tanks and Bombers. Your CO Power will be crucial here. If playing as Andy, use Hyper Repair to keep your units alive. If Max, use Max Force to break through his defenses. If Sami, use Double Time to rapidly advance your Infantry or Mechs. Try to bait Sturm into using his Meteor Strike on less critical units or on areas where you can quickly repair the damage. Capturing his HQ is often a faster route to victory than routing all his units, especially given his strong defenses.

Phase 3: The Final Push

As you approach Sturm's HQ, he will likely have a strong defensive perimeter. Use your indirect fire units to soften up his defenses before sending in your direct combat units. If you have air superiority, use Bombers to target his high-value ground units or even his HQ directly. If playing as Sami, a well-timed 'Victory March' can allow your Infantry to capture his HQ in a single turn, bypassing his formidable defenses. This mission is a test of all the skills you've learned throughout the campaign; be patient, adapt to Sturm's moves, and exploit any openings he provides.
