Throughout most game modes (campaign, skirmish, and some multiplayer maps), you'll find 'Treasures' scattered across the map. These are small, glowing piles of resources or unique units guarded by 'Guardians' (animals or enemy units). Sending your Explorer to collect these treasures is a quick way to gain an early advantage. Treasures can provide Food, Wood, Coin, experience, or even powerful mercenary units. Always prioritize scouting with your Explorer to locate and collect treasures, especially in the early game. Be cautious, as some Guardians can be quite strong, so ensure your Explorer has enough health or bring a small escort if necessary. The rewards often outweigh the risks.
