Gargarensis is the primary antagonist of the campaign, a powerful general and later a demigod. He appears in several missions, often accompanied by a large army and powerful Myth Units. His abilities vary depending on the mission, but he is always a formidable hero unit.
Abilities:
- Powerful Melee Attack: Deals high damage to human units.
- Heroic Aura: Often buffs nearby allied units.
- God Powers: May use specific God Powers depending on his patron god.
Weaknesses:
- Vulnerable to Heroes: Arkantos and other heroes deal bonus damage to him.
- Can be Overwhelmed: Focus fire from a large army can bring him down.
Strategy:
When facing Gargarensis, always prioritize engaging him with Arkantos and any other hero units you have. Heroes deal bonus damage to other heroes and Myth Units. Surround him with your human military units to maximize damage output. Be prepared for him to use God Powers or special abilities. If he has an aura, try to draw him away from his supporting units. Use God Powers like 'Bolt' or 'Shockwave' to deal significant damage or stun him, allowing your units to get more hits in. In later missions, he might be accompanied by Titans or powerful Myth Units, so deal with his escorts first before focusing on Gargarensis himself. Persistence and concentrated fire are key.
