Arkantos and his forces land on a new island, seeking a lost relic. This mission introduces basic base building and resource gathering for the Atlanteans. You'll start with a Town Center, a few Villagers, and some military units. Your immediate priority is to establish a stable economy. Send Villagers to gather Food from nearby berry bushes or hunting spots, Wood from forests, and Gold from gold mines. Train additional Villagers from your Town Center to accelerate your resource income. Explore the map with your Oracle Scout to locate the relic and identify enemy positions.
The relic is typically guarded by enemy forces, so you'll need to build up a small army before attempting to retrieve it. Construct a Barracks and begin training Murmillos. Consider building a Counter-Barracks for Turmas (ranged units) if you anticipate heavy infantry. Research economic upgrades at your Town Center and Storehouses to improve gathering rates. Once you have a decent force, advance towards the relic's location, clearing out any resistance. Retrieving the relic is often as simple as moving Arkantos or a hero unit near it. Be prepared for a counter-attack after securing the relic.
