While not mandatory for story progression, they are an excellent source of experience points, Kinah, and sometimes useful gear or crafting materials. Always check your quest log (J key) to keep track of active quests and their objectives. Prioritize side quests that are within your current level range for optimal efficiency. Some side quests also unlock repeatable daily or weekly quests, providing a consistent source of rewards.
