- Location: Often in a more open, but still confined, area in Bright Falls or Cauldron Lake.
- Phases: Multiple phases, with Scratch becoming more aggressive and summoning more Taken.
- Attacks: Fast melee attacks, teleportation, can create dark zones, and summons numerous Taken.
- Strategy:
- Prioritize Scratch: While he summons Taken, focus your main damage on Scratch himself. Use your most powerful weapons (Shotgun, Hunting Rifle).
- Flashlight Boost: As always, strip his darkness shield quickly.
- Dodge & Create Distance: Scratch is very fast. Use dodges to avoid his attacks and create space to reload or heal.
- Use Utilities: Flares and flashbangs are highly effective here for crowd control and stunning Scratch.
- Environmental Awareness: Look for explosive barrels or other environmental hazards that can be used to your advantage.
- Rewards: Significant story progression, valuable resources.
