Alan will face his own version of the Taken, often referred to as 'Shadows' or 'Darkness Entities'. His combat style is similar to Saga's but often feels more desperate due to limited resources and the oppressive atmosphere.
- Objective: Survive encounters and find light sources.
- Weapon: You'll acquire a Revolver early on.
- Strategy: Use your flashlight to burn away the darkness surrounding enemies, then shoot. Light is your primary defense and offense. Look for 'Safe Havens' – well-lit areas that offer temporary respite.
Conserve your flashlight batteries and revolver ammo. The Dark Place is unforgiving. Always be on the lookout for batteries and flares.
