This encounter occurs in Episode 3. The bulldozer is possessed by the Dark Presence and will relentlessly pursue Alan, attempting to crush him. It is invulnerable to conventional attacks until its darkness is stripped away.
Phase 1: Evade and Expose
The bulldozer will charge at you. Your primary goal is to evade its attacks using dodges and by running around obstacles. Look for large floodlights or generators in the area. You need to activate these light sources. Once a floodlight is active, lure the bulldozer into its beam. The light will begin to burn away its darkness. Keep it in the light until its shadowy aura is gone.
Phase 2: Exploit Weakness
Once the darkness is gone, the bulldozer will briefly stall and glow with a faint light. This is your window to attack. Focus your flashlight on the exposed engine or cabin, then unleash your most powerful firearms (shotgun or rifle) into it. Repeat this process of luring it into light and attacking its weak points until it is destroyed. Be mindful of smaller Taken that may spawn during this fight; use flares or quick revolver shots to dispatch them.
