Towards the later stages of the game, you'll encounter Alien nests and Facehuggers. Facehuggers are small, fast, and instantly lethal if they latch onto you. They often hide in dark corners or emerge from eggs. Use your flamethrower or shotgun to dispatch them quickly from a distance. Be extremely cautious in areas with eggs; approach slowly and use your flashlight to check for movement. The flamethrower is excellent for clearing out groups of eggs before they hatch. These areas are often claustrophobic and require careful, deliberate movement.
