The Alien is not a boss you can defeat with brute force. Your primary strategy is evasion and distraction. Always be aware of its presence via the motion tracker and sound cues. Use cover extensively, hide in lockers or under desks, and move slowly. If it's close, hold your breath in lockers to avoid detection. Use noisemakers or flares to lure it away from your objective. The flamethrower is your only deterrent; use short bursts to scare it back into the vents, buying you precious time. Remember, it learns your patterns, so vary your approach.
