While you can't kill The Beast easily, you can deter it.
- Flares: Temporarily scare it away, giving you a window to escape.
- Molotovs: Can force it to retreat from an area for a short time.
- Firearms: Shooting it will stun it and make it retreat, but it will return, often more aggressively. Use ammo only in dire emergencies.
- Explosions: Dynamite blasts will scare it, but also attract it to the area.
