When the Elevator is sabotaged, the doors to the Elevator become locked, preventing crewmates from entering or exiting. This is particularly effective if crewmates frequently use the Elevator for tasks or as a quick way to move between floors. The goal is to create bottlenecks, trap individuals, or prevent crewmates from reaching other vital parts of the map. The Elevator's role as a primary transit system makes its lockdown a sificant impediment to crewmate movement and objective completion.

Strategic Uses of the Elevator Sabotage:

Isolation and Trapping: If you see a crewmate entering the Elevator, or if they are on one floor and you want to prevent them from reaching another, sabotaging it can trap them or prevent their movement. This sets up a prime opportunity for a kill.
Preventing Task Completion: The Elevator often connects areas with tasks. Locking it down prevents crewmates from completing these, thereby increasing pressure and slowing down the task bar's progress.
