When the Pond area is sabotaged, access to or within the Pond area becomes restricted, preventing crewmates from entering or exiting. This is particularly effective if crewmates frequently use the Pond for tasks or as a transit point. The goal is to create a confined space, trap individuals, or prevent crewmates from reaching other vital parts of the map. The Pond's location often makes its lockdown a sificant impediment to crewmate movement and objective completion.

Strategic Uses of the Pond Sabotage:

Isolation and Trapping: If you see a crewmate heading towards the Pond, or if they are already inside, sabotaging it can trap them. This sets up a prime opportunity for a kill in a secluded environment.
Preventing Task Completion: The Pond typically houses several tasks. Locking it down prevents crewmates from completing these, thereby increasing pressure and slowing down the task bar's progress.
Creating Diversions: A Pond sabotage can effectively draw attention away from another part of the map, allowing you to execute a kill elsewhere or make a swift vent escape.
