Navigating the interface and mastering the controls of Among Us is the first step to becoming a proficient player. Whether you're a Crewmate completing tasks or an Impostor sowing chaos, a solid understanding of the UI and controls is essential for effective gameplay.

User Interface (UI) Elements
The Among Us UI is desed to be intuitive and provide players with key information at a glance. Here are the main components:
- Top Left Corner: Displays the current map name (e.g., The Skeld, Mira HQ, Polus, The Airship).
- Top Center: The Task Bar. This bar fills up as Crewmates complete tasks. When it's full, Crewmates win.
- Top Right Corner: Shows the number of living players and the number of Impostors.
- Player List: Accessible during meetings, this lists all players, their colors, and their voting status.
- Task List: Located in the top left during gameplay, this shows your assed tasks. Tapping a task often highlights its location on the map.
- Emergency Button: Found in the Cafeteria (The Skeld, Polus) or Meeting Room (Mira HQ, Airship), this button can be pressed to call an emergency meeting.
- Admin Table: On some maps, this console shows the location of players in different rooms.
- Security Cameras: Allows players to view specific areas of the map.
- Vitals: On some maps, this shows the status (alive or dead) of all players.
- Sabotage Buttons (Impostor Only): Located at the bottom right of the Impostor screen, these allow you to trigger various sabotages.
- Kill Button (Impostor Only): Appears when an Impostor is close enough to a Crewmate and their kill cooldown has expired.
- Vent Button (Engineer/Impostor Only): Appears when near a vent.
Controls: PC (Keyboard & Mouse)
- Movement: Use the WASD keys or the arrow keys to move your character.
- Interact/Use: Click the 'Use' button (usually on the right side of the screen) or press the 'E' key to interact with tasks, buttons, vents, or sabotage panels.
- Report Body: Click the 'Report' button or press the 'R' key when near a dead body.
- Call Emergency Meeting: Click the Emergency Button or press the 'Q' key when in the meeting area.
- Map: Press the 'Tab' key to open the map.
- Chat: Press the 'Enter' key to open the chat window during meetings.
Controls: Mobile (Touchscreen)
- Movement: Use the virtual joystick on the left side of the screen to move your character.
- Interact/Use: Tap the 'Use' button (usually on the right side of the screen) to interact with tasks, buttons, vents, or sabotage panels.

- Kill Button: When close enough to a Crewmate and the cooldown is ready, the Kill button will appear. Tap or click it to perform a kill.
- Vent Button: When near a vent, the Vent button will appear. Tap or click it to enter or exit vents.

- Practice Movement: Get comfortable with your chosen control method to move smoothly and quickly.
