Impostors also adopt various playstyles to achieve victory:
- The Lone Wolf: Operates independently, focusing on isolated kills and quick escapes. Relies heavily on venting and self-reporting.
- The Saboteur: Prioritizes using sabotages to create win conditions or kill opportunities, often coordinating with another Impostor.
- The Blamer/Manipulator: Excels in meetings, skillfully deflecting suspicion, framing innocent Crewmates, and controlling the narrative.
- The Buddy Impostor: Sticks with a Crewmate for a while to establish an alibi, then kills them when isolated or uses them as a scapegoat.
- The Double Killer: (Requires multiple Impostors) Coordinates with another Impostor for simultaneous kills to quickly reduce Crewmate numbers.
The best Impostors can fluidly switch between these playstyles, adapting to the situation and the Crewmates' behavior.
