For Crewmates, completing tasks is one of the primary win conditions. There are various types of tasks, each with its own mini-game. Understanding them helps you complete them efficiently and spot Impostors faking them.
Common Tasks
These tasks are given to all Crewmates in a game. If one Crewmate has it, all Crewmates have it. Examples include 'Swipe Card' (Admin, Skeld/Polus), 'Fix Wiring' (multiple locations, all maps), and 'Insert Keys' (Dropship, Polus).
Short Tasks
These are quick to complete. Examples include 'Calibrate Distributor' (Electrical, Skeld), 'Clear Asteroids' (Weapons, Skeld/Polus), 'Start Reactor' (Reactor, Mira HQ/Polus).
Long Tasks
These tasks require multiple steps or take a longer time to complete. Examples include 'Upload Data' (multiple locations, all maps), 'Fuel Engines' (Upper/Lower Engine, Skeld; Launchpad, Mira HQ; Dropship/Fueling, Polus), and 'Clean O2 Filter' (O2, Skeld/Polus).
As a Crewmate, prioritize completing your tasks. As an Impostor, learn to fake these tasks convincingly by standing at the correct location for a reasonable amount of time.
