Your presence on the island is embodied by your player character, who is fully customizable. While you'll make initial choices regarding your character's appearance at the very beginning of your island adventure, the beauty of Animal Crossing: New Horizons lies in its flexibility. Almost every aspect of your character's look can be altered and refined as you play. Haircuts and color choices are not fixed; new styles and hues can be unlocked through the Nook Miles system, accessed via the Nook Stop terminal. Clothing is another sificant avenue for personalization. You can acquire a vast array of apparel from the Able Sisters' shop, purchase items at Nook's Cranny, or even craft unique outfits yourself using DIY recipes. Beyond these visual customizations, your character can also learn various reactions, allowing for a more expressive way to communicate and interact with your fellow islanders and visitors.
