The Roost, your island's cozy coffee shop, is a charming addition that becomes available after a series of specific prerequisites are met. First, you must have successfully donated at least 60 items to the museum, contributing to its diverse collection. Following this, you'll need to purchase a piece of art from Redd, the enigmatic art dealer, and have it authenticated by Blathers. Once these conditions are fulfilled, Blathers will eventually express a desire to reconnect with an old friend, Brewster. To find Brewster, you'll need to embark on a Mystery Island Tour using a Nook Miles Ticket. During your exploration of one of these islands, you will encounter Brewster, a pigeon with a passion for coffee. After a conversation, he will agree to open The Roost on your island, typically located on the second floor of the museum. At The Roost, you can enjoy a cup of coffee, relax, and even invite villagers or special characters to join you for a chat, fostering deeper relationships and enjoying a tranquil atmosphere.
