These special visitors typically appear on your island randomly on any given day, or they might be tied to specific days of the week or events. Some visitors will only appear if certain conditions are met, such as having the Able Sisters shop built or reaching a certain stage of island development.
Key Special Visitors and Their Services:
- Flick (Bug Enthusiast): Flick is a talented artist who loves bugs. He will visit your island randomly and offers to buy any bugs you have for 150% of their normal selling price. He also commissions custom bug models if you bring him three of the same bug.
- C.J. (Fisherman): C.J. is a passionate angler who shares Flick's love for collecting. He will visit your island and buy any fish you have for 150% of their normal selling price. Like Flick, he can also create custom fish models if you provide him with three of the same fish.
- Kicks (Shoe Salesman): Kicks sells shoes, socks, and bags. He appears randomly on your island, setting up a stall near Resident Services. His inventory rotates, offering unique footwear and accessories that aren't available anywhere else.
- Leif (Gardener): Leif is a friendly sloth who sells flower seeds and shrubs. He appears randomly and offers several plant starts that can help you diversify your island's flora. He also buys weeds for a higher price than usual, making him a great visitor for clearing out unwanted greenery.
- Saharah (Carpet & Wallpaper Merchant): Saharah travels the world selling exotic carpets, wallpapers, and flooring. She appears randomly and offers to sell you a random small, medium, or large rug. If you give her 2,000 bells and a Saharah Ticket (earned by purchasing rugs from her), she'll give you a random Mysterious Wallpaper or Flooring.
- Celeste (Stargazer): Celeste, the sister of Blathers, visits your island on clear nights, usually when there's a meteor shower. She shares DIY recipes for star-themed furniture and items, such as the Star Wand, Rocket, and various Zodiac-themed items. She doesn't sell anything but provides valuable crafting knowledge.
- Redd (Art Dealer): Redd runs Jolly Redd's Treasure Trawler. He visits your island randomly and sells art pieces – paintings and statues. Be cautious, as some of his art is fake! You can donate genuine art to the museum. He also sells furniture items.
- Gulliver / Gullivarr: These two characters wash ashore on your island. You need to help them by finding their lost communicator parts (Gulliver) or their buried phone (Gullivarr). After helping them, they will send you a unique, often nautical-themed, reward item the next day via mail.
- Wisp (Ghost): Wisp is a friendly ghost who loses his spirit fragments. Find his fragments scattered around your island at night. Once you return them, he will grant you a reward: either a piece of furniture from a specific set or a more expensive item from a different set.
