Paying Off the Nook Miles Loan

Your first major objective is to pay off the 5,000 Nook Miles loan for your tent. Access your NookPhone (ZL) and open the Nook Miles app. You'll see a list of challenges. Focus on the Nook Miles+ challenges, which offer bonus miles for completing simple, rotating tasks. These can include catching fish, bugs, gathering wood, or talking to villagers. Completing these will quickly accumulate the necessary miles. Once you have 5,000, head to the Nook Stop terminal in Resident Services and select 'Redeem Nook Miles' to pay off your loan. This unlocks the ability to upgrade to a house.
