Using the Island Designer App

After K.K. Slider's concert, Tom Nook will give you the Island Designer app. Initially, you'll only have access to path permits. You can purchase additional permits (cliff construction, water-scaping, custom design paths) from the Nook Stop using Nook Miles. To use the app, open your NookPhone, select Island Designer, and then 'Start construction'. You can then select your desired tool. Terraforming is a time-consuming but incredibly rewarding process, allowing you to create rivers, cliffs, and custom paths to truly personalize your island.
