Amenities are large, permanent structures that provide significant friendship boosts to animals of a specific 'essence' type (e.g., Cool, Cute, Sporty). You'll unlock new amenities as your character level increases. To build an amenity, go to the 'Craft' menu and select the 'Amenities' tab. You'll need a substantial amount of Bells and various crafting materials, including essences. Essences are obtained by fulfilling requests from animals of that specific essence type. Building an amenity takes a long time, often several hours or even days, but the friendship rewards are well worth the wait. Once built, you can place it in your campsite.
