In Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, fulfilling villager requests is your primary way to earn Bells, crafting materials, and increase your friendship levels. Understanding the different types of requests and their associated rewards will help you efficiently manage your time and resources. Each villager at a recreation spot will have three requests available, refreshing every three hours.

Gathering Requests

These are the most common requests and involve collecting natural resources found across the various recreation spots. Villagers will ask for specific items, and you'll need to visit the correct location to find them.

• Fruit Requests: Villagers often ask for fruit.
  • Where to find: Head to the Breezy Hollow recreation spot. You'll find various fruit trees here. Shake the trees to make the fruit fall.
  • Specific Fruits: Common requests include Apples, Cherries, Oranges, Pears, and Peaches. Ensure you have a good stock of all fruit types.
  • Strategy: Always collect all available fruit when you visit Breezy Hollow, even if you don't currently have a request for it. Your inventory can hold a good amount, and it saves you trips later.
• Fish Requests: Villagers will sometimes crave fresh fish.
  • Where to find: Visit Saltwater Shores for ocean fish or Lost Lure Creek for river fish.
  • Specific Fish: Common requests include Horse Mackerel, Red Snapper, Black Bass, and Crucian Carp. Rarer fish like Tuna or Koi are less frequently requested for standard tasks but can be used.
  • Strategy: Cast your fishing rod into the water. The shadow size of the fish indicates its potential type. If you're low on a specific fish, consider using a Fishing Net (found in your inventory or crafted) at Saltwater Shores or Lost Lure Creek for a guaranteed catch of multiple fish.
• Bug Requests: Catching bugs is another frequent task.
  • Where to find: Bugs are primarily found at Sunburst Island.
  • Specific Bugs: Common requests include Fruit Beetles, Monarch Butterflies, and Horned Dynastids.
  • Strategy: Approach bugs slowly to avoid scaring them away. Tap the screen when the bug is in range to catch it. Like fishing, using a Honey (found in your inventory or crafted) at Sunburst Island will attract multiple bugs, making collection much faster.
• Shell Requests: Occasionally, villagers will ask for shells.
  • Where to find: Shells wash up on the beach at Saltwater Shores.
  • Specific Shells: Common requests include Clams, Coral, and Conches.
  • Strategy: Simply tap on the shells on the beach to collect them. They respawn regularly.

Rewards for Gathering Requests: Successfully completing a gathering request typically yields:

• Bells: The primary in-game currency.
• Crafting Materials: Such as Cotton, Wood, Steel, Paper, or Preserves, which are essential for crafting furniture and amenities.
• Friendship Points: Increase your friendship level with the villager, unlocking new dialogue and rewards.

"Any" Item Requests

Sometimes, a villager will ask for "any" fruit, fish, or bug. This is a fantastic opportunity to use up common or less valuable items in your inventory.

• Strategy: Always fulfill these requests with the cheapest or most abundant item you have. For example, if they ask for "any fruit," give them an Apple if you have plenty, saving your rarer fruits for specific requests or selling.

Rewards for "Any" Item Requests: Similar to specific gathering requests, you'll receive Bells, crafting materials, and friendship points. The amount might be slightly less than a specific request, but it's still worthwhile.

Lost Item Requests

These requests are less common but offer a unique interaction. A villager will mention losing something and ask for your help to find it.

• Where to find: The lost item will be at the same recreation spot where the villager is located. It will appear as a small, sparkling object on the ground.
• Strategy: Carefully scan the area around the villager and the general recreation spot. The sparkling effect makes it stand out. Tap on it to pick it up and return it to the villager.

Rewards for Lost Item Requests: These often provide a slightly higher amount of Bells and friendship points compared to standard gathering requests, making them quite rewarding.

Special Requests (Level-Up Requests)

When a villager reaches a certain friendship level (e.g., Level 3, 5, 7, etc.), they will have a special request. These requests are crucial for progressing in the game.

• What they ask for: They will ask you to craft a specific piece of furniture that is unique to them. This furniture will then be added to your crafting menu.
• Strategy: Prioritize crafting these items as soon as possible. You'll need to gather the required crafting materials (e.g., Wood, Cotton, Steel) and Bells. Once crafted, return to the villager and present the item.

Rewards for Special Requests:

• Unlock Villager: For the first special request (usually at Level 3), completing it allows the villager to move into your campsite.
• Leaf Tickets: These are premium currency and are awarded for completing special requests at higher friendship levels.
• More Friendship Points: A significant boost to your friendship with that villager.
• New Dialogue: Unlocks new conversations and insights into the villager's personality.
