Throughout your game, you may encounter treasure maps or receive hints about shipwrecks. These side activities offer a chance to acquire valuable items, gold, or rare resources. Treasure maps are usually found in crates floating in the sea or as rewards for completing other quests. To start a treasure hunt, open the map from your inventory and navigate your ship to the marked location. Once you're in the vicinity, use the 'Dive' ability (if your ship has it, or if you have a diving bell item) to search for the treasure. Shipwrecks are often visible on the minimap as small icons or can be discovered by simply sailing over them. Interacting with a shipwreck will usually yield some goods or a quest item. These activities are excellent for supplementing your income and acquiring unique artifacts that can boost your city's performance or your ships' capabilities.
