A global Resource Bottleneck occurs when one or more critical resources are in short supply across your entire corporation, halting production chains and preventing upgrades. This 'boss' is a test of your logistical and production planning. To identify the bottleneck, use the Global Statistics menu to see which resources are in deficit. Then, trace the production chain back to its source. Is it a raw material shortage (e.g., not enough Carbon in the Arctic)? Is a processing plant not producing enough (e.g., Graphene Synthesizers)? Or is it a trade route issue (e.g., not enough cargo capacity)? Increase production at the source, build more processing facilities, or upgrade your trade routes and Spaceports. Apply Production Efficiency Modules to boost output. Sometimes, temporarily pausing less critical production can free up resources for the bottlenecked chain.
