In Battle Royale mode, 60 players are divided into squads (twenty squads of three in Trios, or thirty squads of two in Duos). The objective is to be the last squad standing. The match begins with players in a dropship, skydiving onto the map led by a Jumpmaster. All players start with a Level 1 Shield Core, a Knockdown Shield, four Shield Cells, and four Syringes. All other items must be looted from the ground or supply bins.

The game features multiple gameplay modes, primarily divided into core and freestyle categories:

  • Core: Ranked, Unranked
  • Freestyle: Mixtape, Limited-time modes, Private match, Training, Bot Royale, Firing range

In Battle Royale, the ring shrinks over time, forcing players into smaller areas. Looting is essential for acquiring better weapons, armor, and healing items. Effective communication and teamwork within your squad are crucial for survival and securing the win.
