At the start of a Battle Royale match, all players receive a basic starter kit. This includes a Level 1 Shield Core, a Knockdown Shield, four Shield Cells, and four Syringes. Additional items and higher-tier loot must be acquired by looting the map, Supply Bins, Arsenal Stations, or other specific map sources.

Upon dropping from the dropship, every player is equipped with essential survival gear:

  • Level 1 Shield Core: Provides initial protection.
  • Knockdown Shield: Offers defense when downed.
  • 4 Shield Cells: Used to restore shield health.
  • 4 Syringes: Used to restore health.

Beyond this initial loadout, players must actively search for better equipment. Loot can be found in various locations:

  • On the ground: Basic items are scattered across the map.
  • Supply Bins: Containers that often hold a variety of loot.
  • Arsenal Stations: Locations that may offer higher-tier items.
  • Map-specific sources: Certain areas on the map might contain unique or advanced loot.

Apex Packs are loot boxes that provide random cosmetic items. These come in various types:

  • Apex Packs: By default Rare, with Epic and Legendary versions available in the Store or during Events.
  • Thematic Packs: Guarantee at least one item for a specific Legend, weapon, or cosmetic type.
  • Collection Event Packs: Contain at least one item from the Collection Event they are associated with.
  • Themed Event Packs: Contain at least one item from the Themed Event they are associated with.
