How to Beat Minor ARC Units in ARC Raiders

Minor ARC units are the bread and butter of the ARC threat in ARC Raiders. While not as imposing as their elite counterparts, a swarm of these basic enemies can quickly overwhelm an unprepared Raider. Understanding their attack patterns, weaknesses, and how to efficiently dispatch them is fundamental to survival.

The most common minor ARC unit is the ARC Grunt. These are your standard infantry, armed with basic energy weapons. They tend to attack in groups and rely on overwhelming numbers. Their primary weakness is their relatively low health and predictable movement. Focus fire on them, and utilize area-of-effect weapons or abilities to take down multiple Grunts at once. Grenades are particularly effective against clustered Grunts. Prioritize eliminating them quickly to prevent them from pinning you down or flanking you while you deal with more dangerous threats.

Another common minor unit is the ARC Scout. These units are faster and more agile than Grunts, often attempting to flank your position or harass you from a distance with rapid-fire weapons. While they have less armor than Grunts, their mobility can make them difficult to hit. Aim for headshots if possible, as this often deals critical damage. Their flanking maneuvers can be countered by staying aware of your surroundings and using cover effectively. If a Scout is constantly evading you, try to corner them or use abilities that restrict movement.

Less frequently encountered but still considered minor threats are ARC Troopers. These units are more heavily armored than Grunts and Scouts and wield more powerful weaponry, such as plasma rifles or grenade launchers. They are slower-moving but hit harder. Their armor can be a nuisance, so targeting weak points, if they have any exposed, is recommended. If you can't find a weak point, sustained fire is necessary. Their heavier firepower means you should prioritize taking them down before they can inflict significant damage. Using cover to break line of sight and then re-engaging them is a good tactic.

When facing any minor ARC unit, remember that teamwork is key. Call out enemy positions to your squadmates and focus fire on priority targets. Conserve your ammunition when possible, but don't hesitate to expend it to eliminate threats quickly. Understanding the specific behaviors of each minor unit will allow you to adapt your tactics and ensure your survival on the battlefield.

Minor ARC Unit Strategies:

  • ARC Grunts: Focus fire, use AoE attacks, and grenades to eliminate swarms.
  • ARC Scouts: Prioritize headshots, counter flanking with awareness and cover.
  • ARC Troopers: Target weak points, use sustained fire, and prioritize them due to higher damage.
  • Teamwork: Communicate enemy positions and focus fire.
  • Resource Management: Conserve ammo but use it effectively to eliminate threats.
