Gaining experience points (XP) is vital for unlocking new Engrams and improving your survivor's stats. You earn XP by gathering, crafting, killing creatures, and completing Explorer Notes. Each level grants Engram Points, which you spend to learn blueprints for items, structures, and saddles. Prioritize Engrams like Campfire, Sleeping Bag, Spear, and eventually, basic building structures. Also, allocate stat points wisely; Health, Stamina, and Weight are good early investments.
