Your initial task is to infiltrate a Bolshevik stronghold. The environment is characterized by industrial structures, snow-covered streets, and numerous guards. Nikolai's Modified Rifle is a key tool here. While it can be used for direct combat, its primary stealth utility is for silent, long-range takedowns of enemies, especially those on elevated positions or behind cover. Aim carefully for headshots to ensure a one-shot kill. You'll also be introduced to the Winch, which allows Nikolai to interact with environmental elements like moving platforms or opening gates from a distance. Use the Winch to create new paths or to distract guards. The stronghold is often multi-layered, with guards patrolling on different levels. Utilize the shadows and the cover provided by crates and machinery. Be mindful of searchlights and alarm bells; if detected, guards will quickly converge on your position. Prioritize disabling alarm bells with your rifle or by stealthily approaching them.
