Understanding Notoriety

Your Notoriety Level dictates how easily guards will spot and pursue you. A high Notoriety means guards are on high alert, recognizing Ezio from a distance. A low Notoriety allows you to move freely, often unnoticed. Always aim to keep your Notoriety as low as possible, especially before critical missions.

  • Increasing Notoriety:
    • Committing crimes (murder, theft, assault).
    • Being spotted by guards in restricted areas.
