Starting the Quest

To initiate this quest, you must first reach a certain point in the main story where Achilles is settled at the Homestead. Once he is present, you'll need to locate him in his study within the Manor. A conversation icon will appear over his head, indicating the start of the "Achilles' Painting" mission.

Achilles' Painting

Achilles will ask you to retrieve a specific painting from a hidden location. Follow these steps:

  1. Speak with Achilles: Find Achilles in the Manor's study. He will explain the significance of the painting and provide a vague clue about its location.
  2. Travel to the Frontier: The painting is located in a small, unmarked cave in the Frontier. Open your map and look for a cluster of trees near a waterfall in the central-eastern part of the region.
  3. Locate the Cave Entrance: The cave entrance is discreetly hidden behind a thick bush. Use your Eagle Vision (press L3 on PlayStation, LS on Xbox) to highlight interactive elements and reveal the entrance.
  4. Navigate the Cave:
    • The cave is a short, linear path. Be mindful of a few small ledges that require careful platforming.
    • There are no enemies within the cave, so focus on navigation.
  5. Retrieve the Painting: At the end of the cave, you'll find a small alcove containing the "Portrait of Timothy". Interact with it to collect it.
  6. Return to Achilles: Head back to the Homestead and present the painting to Achilles. He will express his gratitude and share a brief, poignant story about Timothy.

The Mystery of Timothy's Grave

After completing "Achilles' Painting," a new objective will appear on your map, leading you to Timothy's grave. This is a short, reflective interlude.

  1. Locate the Grave: Timothy's grave is situated on a small hill overlooking the Homestead, just north of the Manor. A quest marker will guide you.
  2. Interact with the Grave: Approach the grave and interact with it. Connor will pay his respects, and Achilles will offer a final, heartfelt remembrance of his friend.

Reward: Achilles' Original Outfit

Upon the completion of "The Mystery of Timothy's Grave," you will unlock a special cosmetic item: Achilles' Original Outfit. This outfit allows Connor to wear the iconic robes of a younger Achilles, complete with the distinctive white and blue Assassin colors. To equip this outfit:

  1. Navigate to the Main Menu.
  2. Select "Outfits."
  3. Choose "Achilles' Original Outfit" from the available options.

This outfit is purely cosmetic and does not offer any stat bonuses, but it's a fantastic way to honor Achilles and his past, adding a layer of immersion to your gameplay experience.
