Memory 1: The Battle of Monmouth
This memory plunges you into one of the war's most brutal engagements. Your primary objective is to assist General Washington and disrupt British forces.
Objectives:
- Full Synchronization: Kill 3 enemies with a single shot from a cannon.
- Full Synchronization: Perform 3 stealth kills from a corner.
Walkthrough:
- Initial Advance: Follow Washington's troops. You'll encounter British patrols. Utilize the tall grass and environmental cover for stealth kills. Focus on eliminating officers first to sow chaos.
- Cannon Objective: After the initial skirmish, you'll reach a cannon emplacement. To achieve the "Kill 3 enemies with a single shot from a cannon" full synchronization, wait for a cluster of redcoats to advance. Aim slightly ahead of their path to account for projectile travel time. A well-placed shot can easily take out three or more.
- Corner Stealth Kills: As you push forward, you'll enter areas with more structures and corners. Actively seek out opportunities for "stealth kills from a corner." Lure patrolling guards by whistling, then assassinate them as they investigate. There are ample opportunities throughout the memory, so don't rush.
- Disrupting British Artillery: Your next major task is to disable British artillery. Approach these positions from the flanks or rear. Use smoke bombs to disorient groups of guards, allowing for quick assassinations or escapes.
- Protecting Washington: Towards the end of the memory, you'll need to defend General Washington from a concentrated British assault. Prioritize enemies targeting him directly. Utilize your counter-kill abilities and chain kills to clear the area efficiently.
Memory 2: The Tea Party
Connor must infiltrate a British-controlled ship during the Boston Tea Party to retrieve vital intelligence. Stealth is paramount here.
Objectives:
- Full Synchronization: Do not touch the water.
- Full Synchronization: Perform 3 air assassinations.
Walkthrough:
- Approach the Ship: Begin by approaching the docks. To achieve "Do not touch the water," you must stick to the docks, crates, and ropes. Use the environmental parkour elements to move silently.
- Boarding the Ship: Look for ropes or crates that allow you to climb onto the ship without entering the water. There are several accessible points on the stern and bow.
- Air Assassinations: Once on board, identify guards patrolling below you. Climb masts or rigging to gain height. Perform "air assassinations" on isolated targets. There are usually 4-5 opportunities on the main deck and forecastle.
- Locating the Intelligence: The intelligence is typically located in the Captain's Cabin, below deck. You'll need to navigate through the ship's interior, which is often patrolled by guards in tight corridors. Use cover and corner assassinations.
- Retrieving the Document: Once inside the Captain's Cabin, interact with the glowing document on the table or desk.
- Escape: After retrieving the intelligence, you'll need to escape the ship. You can either fight your way out or attempt a stealthy exit. For full synchronization, continue to avoid the water. The easiest escape route is often back the way you came, utilizing the same parkour elements.
Memory 3: The Midnight Ride
This memory sees Connor assisting Paul Revere in his famous ride, warning the colonial militias.
Objectives:
- Full Synchronization: Do not let Paul Revere's health drop below 50%.
- Full Synchronization: Kill 5 enemies with a musket.
Walkthrough:
- Initial Ride: Follow Paul Revere on horseback. The path will be linear, but you'll encounter British patrols attempting to intercept you.
- Protecting Revere: Your primary concern is "not letting Paul Revere's health drop below 50%." This means being proactive in engaging British soldiers. When you see a red indicator on your mini-map, immediately ride towards the threat and eliminate it.
- Musket Kills: You'll be given a musket during this memory. Actively use it to achieve "kill 5 enemies with a musket." Aim for headshots for quick eliminations. Remember that muskets have a slow reload time, so switch to your Tomahawk or Hidden Blade for close-quarters combat if necessary.
- Roadblocks and Ambushes: Expect British roadblocks and ambushes. Dismount your horse to deal with larger groups of soldiers more effectively. Use environmental cover to your advantage.
- Warning the Militia: At various points, Revere will stop to warn colonial militias. During these brief pauses, ensure the area is clear of any remaining British soldiers before proceeding.
