Romance Options
In Assassin's Creed Odyssey, your journey through ancient Greece is not just about epic battles and uncovering your past; it's also about forging connections, some of which can blossom into romantic relationships. These encounters often provide unique dialogue, side quests, and even crew members for your ship, the Adrestia. Unlike some RPGs, most romance options in Odyssey are standalone encounters, meaning you can pursue multiple relationships without negative repercussions on others. The key is often choosing the dialogue option marked with a heart icon or a flirtatious tone.
General Romance Strategy
To successfully initiate and complete a romance, follow these general steps:
- Identify Potential Partners: Many NPCs you encounter during main quests, side quests, or even random world events can be romanced. Look for characters with compelling stories or those who express interest in you.
- Choose Flirtatious Dialogue: When interacting with a potential romantic interest, always select dialogue options marked with a small heart icon. These are your primary indicators for advancing a romantic storyline.
- Complete Associated Quests: Most romances are tied to specific questlines. You'll often need to complete a series of quests for the character to fully develop the relationship.
- Make Favorable Choices: While not always explicitly stated, making choices that align with the character's values or help them can sometimes influence the outcome of a romance.
- Enjoy the Outcome: Successful romances often culminate in a unique cutscene, a temporary buff, or even the character joining your ship's crew as a Lieutenant.
