The Hidden Ones DLC

Accessing The Hidden Ones

To begin your journey into the Sinai, you must first have completed the main story quest "The Final Weighing" in the base game. Once completed, a new quest, "The Hidden Ones", will automatically appear in your quest log. Follow the quest marker to the new region on your world map. The recommended level for this DLC is Level 38, so ensure Bayek is adequately prepared.

Main Quests Walkthrough: Sinai Peninsula

1. The Hidden Ones

• Objective: Travel to the Sinai Peninsula and meet the local Hidden Ones.

2. Walls of the Ruler

3. The Setting Sun

• Objective: Deal with the Roman general, Rufio.
• Location: Roman Camp of Rufio.
• Strategy: Rufio is a formidable opponent. Consider upgrading your gear before confronting him. The camp is heavily guarded, so a stealthy approach is recommended to thin out his forces. Utilize environmental hazards if available. Rufio often has a unique attack pattern, so observe and parry/dodge effectively.

4. The Shadow of the Scarab

• Objective: Uncover the identity of the "Scarab" and dismantle their operations.
• Strategy: This quest involves several investigative steps. You'll likely need to gather clues from various Roman outposts and interrogate informants. Be prepared for multiple skirmishes as you piece together the Scarab's plan.

5. The Greater Good

• Objective: Confront the true mastermind behind the Roman oppression in Sinai.
• Strategy: This is the climactic finale of the DLC. The final boss encounter will test all your skills. Ensure you have a good supply of arrows, tools, and health potions. Pay attention to the boss's weaknesses and exploit them. Successfully completing this quest will solidify the foundations of the Hidden Ones.

New Gear and Abilities

The Hidden Ones DLC introduces a new progression cap, allowing Bayek to reach Level 45. You'll also find new legendary weapons, outfits, and a new skill tree category:

• New Abilities: Look for skills that enhance your ranged combat, stealth, and overall combat prowess. For example, the Flesh Decay ability can be incredibly useful for crowd control.

Be warned: this expansion introduces significantly tougher enemies and unique mechanics related to the afterlife.

The Curse of the Pharaohs is a sprawling adventure, blending historical exploration with fantastical elements. You'll journey between the living world and various Afterlife realms.

1. The Curse of the Pharaohs

• Objective: Travel to Thebes and investigate the strange occurrences.
• Strategy: Upon arriving in Thebes, you'll immediately encounter the effects of the curse. Speak to the locals and follow the initial quest markers to understand the unfolding crisis.

2. Shadow of the Pharaohs

• Objective: Confront the resurrected pharaohs and send them back to the Afterlife.
• Strategy: This DLC features encounters with multiple spectral pharaohs, such as Akhenaten, Nefertiti, Tutankhamun, and Ramesses II. Each pharaoh has a unique Afterlife realm (e.g., Aaru, Duat) and distinct combat mechanics. You'll need to enter their Afterlife to truly defeat them.

• Strategy: The final confrontation will be against a truly powerful entity. Ensure your gear is fully upgraded, and you have a diverse set of abilities. This battle will test your mastery of all combat systems.

New Gear, Abilities, and Level Cap

The Curse of the Pharaohs raises the level cap to an impressive Level 55 and introduces a wealth of new content:

• New Abilities: The new skill tree focuses on enhancing your combat against supernatural foes and improving your survivability in the Afterlife. Look for skills that boost your damage against "cursed" enemies or provide health regeneration.

The Roman Centurion Pack & Horus Pack

These cosmetic packs offer unique outfits, weapons, and mounts to enhance your gameplay experience. While they don't add new story content, they provide stylish alternatives for Bayek.

Roman Centurion Pack

• Contents: Includes the Roman Centurion Outfit, Sagittarius Bow, Labrys Axe, Parthian Shield, and a unique mount.
• Acquisition: Typically purchased separately or included with the Season Pass. Once acquired, items appear in your inventory and stable.

Horus Pack

• Contents: Features the Horus Outfit, Fang Bow, Swift Strike Sword, Shield of Aaru, and a unique mount.
• Acquisition: Similar to the Roman Centurion Pack, this is usually a separate purchase or part of the Season Pass.
