Memory 1: A Cautious Alliance

This memory begins with Arno needing to meet with Elise. The primary objective here is to tail her without being detected and then eliminate a specific target. Achieving 100% synchronization requires remaining undetected throughout the tailing sequence and performing a perfect parry during the confrontation.

Walkthrough:

1. Meet Elise: Head to the designated marker to initiate the memory.
2. Tail Elise:
   • Elise will immediately start moving. Stay on the rooftops for the best vantage point and to avoid detection.
   • Maintain a safe distance. If you get too close, she'll become suspicious. If you fall too far behind, you risk desynchronization.
   • Utilize your Eagle Vision frequently to keep track of her through crowds and around corners.
   • She will lead you through various districts, including areas with heavy guard patrols. Be mindful of your surroundings and use cover effectively.
   • Synchronization Tip: Remaining undetected during this entire tailing sequence is crucial for 100% synchronization. If you are detected, restart from the last checkpoint.
3. Eliminate the Target:
   • Elise will eventually lead you to a courtyard where she confronts a Templar target.
   • Wait for the opportune moment. The target will be surrounded by guards.
   • Strategy: A good approach is to use a Phantom Blade from a distance to take out one of the surrounding guards, drawing attention. Then, use a Smoke Bomb to disorient the remaining guards and quickly assassinate the target.
   • Alternatively, you can wait for Elise to engage, creating a distraction, and then move in for the kill.
4. Escape the Area: Once the target is eliminated, flee the area and lose any pursuing guards to complete the memory.

Memory 2: Confrontation

In this memory, Arno must infiltrate a heavily guarded area to confront a significant Templar figure, Lafrenière. The main challenge lies in navigating the dense enemy presence and executing a clean assassination. 100% synchronization requires performing a perfect parry during the final confrontation and remaining undetected until you reach the target's location.

Walkthrough:

1. Infiltrate the Building:
   • The building where Lafrenière is located is heavily guarded. Approach from the rooftops for the best stealth options.
   • Synchronization Tip: Do not be detected before reaching Lafrenière. Use your Eagle Vision to mark enemies and plan your route carefully.
   • Consider using a Berserk Blade on a guard near the entrance to create a diversion.
   • Look for open windows or unlocked doors on upper floors to gain entry. The front entrance is usually too heavily guarded for a stealth approach.
2. Locate Lafrenière:
   • Once inside, use Eagle Vision to pinpoint Lafrenière's location. He will typically be in a central room or an office on an upper floor.
   • Navigate through the building, using cover (like bookshelves and furniture) to avoid patrols.
   • Take out isolated guards silently with a Hidden Blade or Phantom Blade.
3. Confront Lafrenière:
   • Upon reaching Lafrenière, a cutscene will trigger, followed by a direct confrontation.
   • Synchronization Tip: During this fight, you must perform a perfect parry. This means parrying an incoming attack just as it's about to hit you, causing the enemy to stagger significantly. Practice your timing if necessary.
   • After the parry, follow up with an attack to defeat Lafrenière.
4. Escape: Once Lafrenière is dealt with, escape the building and the restricted area to complete the memory. Be prepared for increased guard presence as you exit.
