Target: Jubair al Hakim (Damascus)

Jubair al Hakim, the Master Scholar of Damascus, is a target who often operates from within the confines of the Grand Library or the surrounding scholarly district. This area is typically less militarized than other Templar strongholds but is still patrolled by a number of Scholars who can raise the alarm, and a few City Guards. Infiltrating the Grand Library requires a focus on stealth and observation. Utilize the rooftops and the numerous balconies to gain a vantage point and observe Jubair's movements. The Eagle Vision is essential for identifying him amongst the scholars and for tracking the patrol routes of any guards. Jubair is known to move between the main library halls and adjacent courtyards. A common mistake is to assume the area is safe due to its scholarly nature; however, alerted scholars can quickly summon guards. Prioritize silent takedowns of any guards who are isolated. The Throwing Knives can be used to lure guards away from their posts or to eliminate them from a distance if they are positioned in a hard-to-reach spot. If you are detected, breaking line of sight and using the dense architecture of Damascus to your advantage is crucial. Retreating to the rooftops can often allow you to re-establish stealth. Jubair himself may not be heavily armed, but he is often protected by a few loyal guards. If combat is unavoidable, focus on crowd control and quickly dispatching his protectors before engaging him. His HP is relatively low, making him vulnerable to a sustained assault once his guards are dealt with. Looting Jubair's body will often yield valuable Manuscripts or other scholarly artifacts.
