Target: William of Montferrat (Acre)

William of Montferrat, the Lord of Acre, presents a formidable challenge due to his presence within the heavily fortified city walls and his personal guard. Infiltrating Acre requires careful planning, as the city is patrolled by numerous Crusader Soldiers and City Watchmen. A strategic entry point is often through the less guarded western side of the city, near the docks. Utilize the shadows cast by warehouses and ships to move unseen. The Crowd Blending mechanic is exceptionally useful in the bustling marketplaces and narrow alleyways of Acre. Blend in with groups of civilians to bypass patrols and observe guard movements. William is often found within the Royal Palace, a central and well-defended structure. Before attempting to breach the palace, scout the perimeter. Identify guard rotations and any potential weaknesses in the wall, such as sections under repair or less patrolled areas. The Grappling Hook can be invaluable for scaling walls and reaching less accessible rooftops, offering a stealthier alternative to ground-level infiltration. Once inside the palace grounds, prioritize eliminating isolated guards using your Hidden Blade. Be aware of Knights who possess higher HP and more aggressive attack patterns. If you are detected, the Smoke Bomb ability can provide a crucial window to escape and re-establish stealth. William himself may be accompanied by several elite guards. If a direct confrontation is unavoidable, focus on parrying his powerful sword strikes and exploiting openings. His HP is considerable, so efficient combat is key. Consider using Daggers for quick, successive hits after a successful parry. Remember to loot William's body for any valuable artifacts or information.
