Wyll (Warlock)
Wyll, a Warlock, makes his dramatic entrance during the goblin attack at the Emerald Grove gates, aiding Zevlor and the others. After the battle, you can loot fallen enemies, potentially finding a Brass Locket on Barth's corpse. Proceed through the gate to Emerald Grove (X:209 Y:454) where you'll find Aradin and Zevlor arguing. Your dialogue choices here can influence their interaction.
During the initial combat encounter, take advantage of the high ground positioning. After the fight, Zevlor will order someone to open the gate. Once inside Emerald Grove, you'll witness Aradin and Zevlor arguing. Your dialogue options are:
- Where there's one goblin, there's ten. I'm leaving before the horde shows up.
- One fight just ended, and now you're picking another? Relax.
- Druid? Those goblins didn't take any prisoners.
- You can cough up my payment any time now.
Choosing the second option will lead to Zevlor and Aradin exchanging insults. You'll then have further options:
- [INTIMIDATION] If you want me to take both of you down, I will. Otherwise, knock it off.
- Stand back and watch.
- [PERSUASION] More violence won't bring back th
Wyll can be recruited to your party. He will tell you about Karlach, an archdevil's soldier he swore to kill. He tracked her to the mind flayer ship but was infected before he could kill her. He is concerned about her preying on the innocent. Your dialogue options regarding Karlach are:
- Who is she?
- Hunting in the Hells. Dangerous territory.
- Cavorting with devils, I see. You should consider better company.
If you choose to join forces with Wyll to cast Karlach back into the Hells, Lae'zel will disapprove. Wyll will agree to your decision but note your party is full. You can then choose to send him to your camp to wait or have him remain at his current location.
