Mirkon

Mirkon is a tiefling child found at the Secluded Cove (X:327 Y:553) in Baldur's Gate 3. Interacting with Mirkon initiates the quest Investigate the Beach. This encounter is part of a larger sequence of events within the Emerald Grove, leading to other significant quests and character interactions. After meeting Mirkon, players can return to the Sacred Pool to advance other storylines.

To find Mirkon, first gain entry past the initial guard. A companion named Mino will whisper to the guard, who then states that Kagha wants to see you, allowing passage. Proceed to the Secluded Cove where Mirkon is located. After interacting with Mirkon and starting Investigate the Beach, you can return to the Sacred Pool. From there, head through the Stone Door at (X:228 Y:521) to advance the quest Save Arabella. This path also allows you to speak with Kagha regarding Zevlor's request, progressing the quest Save the Refugees. Further into the Emerald Grove, after passing through the Stone Door and encountering Kagha for the first time, you can visit the Druids' Chambers (X:-443 Y:-6) to find Nettie. Nettie will be tending to an injured bird, and interacting with her presents several dialogue options:

  • Wait patiently.
  • Excuse me? I'm more important than some bird.
  • Leave.
