Dialogue & Choices
Dialogue is a cornerstone of Baldur's Gate 3. Your choices often have far-reaching consequences, influencing character relationships, quest outcomes, and even the story's direction. Pay attention to skill checks (Persuasion, Intimidation, Deception) as they can open new dialogue options.
Looting & Inventory Management
Scavenge everything! You'll find gold, equipment, crafting materials, and valuable quest items. Regularly check your inventory, send unwanted items to your camp, and sell excess loot to vendors.
Resting: Short & Long Rests
- Short Rest: Replenishes some spell slots, hit dice, and certain class abilities. You can take two per long rest.
- Long Rest: Fully restores health, spell slots, and most abilities. Requires supplies and returns you to your camp. Use it strategically to progress companion stories and refresh your party.
