Quest: Avenge the Drowned
The "Avenge the Drowned" quest in Baldur's Gate 3 involves various ways to acquire specific items and rewards, often tied to completing other quests or interacting with key NPCs. Many items are acquired through quest completion or specific interactions:
- Pale Oak: Obtained as a reward for completing the "Investigate Kagha" quest. You must persuade and spare Kagha before completing "Rescue the Druid Halsin." This staff is only awarded if your character is a druid.
- "Avenge Glut's Circle" Reward: Given by Glut after defeating Sovereign Spaw.
- Items from Lady Esther: Can be bought from Lady Esther at Rosymorn Monastery Trail.
- Items near Sorcerous Sundries: Found on a counter near Sorcerous Sundries, guarded by a Lava Elemental and Water Elemental. These items include a Coldbrim Hat, Gold Wyrmling Staff, and various scrolls.
- Gale Origin Item: Given by Tara during the first Long Rest after completing the "Escape the Nautiloid" quest, exclusively when playing as the Gale Origin.
- Zevlor's Items: Carried by Zevlor in the Druid Grove. Can be bought, stolen, or earned as a reward for "Investigate Kagha."
- Mol's Reward: Rewarded by Mol for completing the quest "Steal the Sacred Idol."
Other notable interactions and items include:
- Strange Ox: Can be looted from the Strange Ox in the Druid Grove, or later at Dammon's blacksmith in the Last Light Inn. Killing the Strange Ox prevents completion of the "Help the Devilish Ox" quest.
