Quest: Deal with Orin

To deal with Orin, you must first locate her hideout. This is primarily achieved by completing the "Investigate the Murders" quest, which will point you towards the Undercity Ruins. Alternatively, the "Murder Tribunal questline" also reveals the location of the Bhaalist Hideout. Both paths lead to the same destination, hidden within the Gravestone building.

The Bhaalist Hideout is located in the Gravestone building, next to the Elfsong Tavern. Look for a hidden lever behind a painting on the wall to gain entry. Inside, you can complete the quest, which offers different options. These options can lead to a fight or an entirely different situation, but both will grant you access to Orin's hideout in the Undercity and potentially an ally for the final battle. Once you have the location, proceed to the Undercity to confront Orin.

During your journey, you may encounter specific points of interest:

  • A Gold Key can be found on a corpse (X:28 Y:-354) near the entrance to an area, which opens an elaborate chest.
  • In the middle of a room, a woman is trapped inside a Mind Flayer Pond (X:46 Y:-354).
  • North of this room, another corpse (X:61 Y:-353) holds a Bronze Necklace and an Eldritch Rune.
  • Interacting with a control panel will cause the woman in the pod to transform, though she cannot attack while inside.
