This final hub is a gauntlet of high-level tactical encounters that requires careful resource management. Your primary objective is to locate the Palace, which is sealed until you gather three artifacts: the Moonblade, the Talisman of Rillifane, and the Golden Cup of Life.
The city is teeming with formidable enemies. Adamantite Golems and Iron Golems guard many of the interiors; ensure your front-liners are equipped with +3 or better crushing weapons. You will also face Rakshasa and high-level Mages who frequently employ 'Time Stop' and 'Symbol: Death.' Keep 'Death Ward' active on your squishier party members and use 'Breach' or 'Pierce Magic' immediately to strip hostile spell protections. When facing the Balor summoned near the Tree of Life, utilize 'Protection from Evil 10' Radius' to prevent your party from being targeted by its most devastating gaze attacks.
To progress, head first to the House of the Chosen to secure the Stone Horn, then clear the Temple of Rillifane. Placing the three artifacts on the central altar will summon the Avatar of Rillifane, who will clear the city of monsters and open the way to the Palace.
