Throughout Gotham, the Arkham Knight's militia has established numerous checkpoints and watchtowers. These are heavily fortified locations that restrict Batman's movement and provide strategic advantages to the enemy. Clearing checkpoints usually involves a predator encounter to neutralize the guards and then destroying a control panel. Watchtowers require a stealthy approach to disable their defenses before you can take out the snipers. Eliminating these structures weakens the militia's hold on the city.
